Year 1999
This model was the 40th Anniversary Edition Sambar Dias, and limited production run of only 1,000 vehicles.
This model was developed by Subaru at the request of Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park located in Nagasaki Prefecture, and originally served as a utility vehicle for use within the park grounds. It was subsequently exhibited at the 1993 Tokyo Motor Show; following numerous calls for its commercial release, it was ultimately added to the company's product lineup.
This model has been extremely popular in Japan, and it is increasingly rare to find examples in good condition. While Grace JDM has a specialized source to procure this model, it has become more difficult to locate them recently.
